The economizer works in the heat transfer method. The economizer works to pre-heat the feed water through boiler exhaust flue gas or feed water.  Feed water works to increase the temperature of water. To make steam in the boiler, we use hard flow gas. We use hard flue gas in the steam we make in the boiler, where we will give coal and heat the boiler.

By using the heat energy, we create steam. After that, the heat energy that is left after the steam is form, subsequently adjust and goes out of the boiler. The flue gases go out. There is some heat energy in it and there is some heat energy left. And If it is not used then this heat energy will go into losses, or this heat energy will get destroyed, this is the heat energy or waste.

How Economizer is work-

To use the heat energy, we use an economizer. Economizer is a mechanical device which works to heat the feed water through waste exhaust heat energy. If we increase the temperature of feed water before enter it into the boiler. then Coal consumption in the boiler will also be reduced. due to which the efficiency of the boiler will increase.

And my cost will also be reducing. With this we can save money also, that is why we call it economizer. What will it do to the economy by maintaining the economy of the boiler?  The economizer will pre-heat the feed water by using the thermal energy. What is this? How economizer increases tempreture-

If the economizer temperature increases by 6 degrees, the boiler efficiency will increase by 1 degree. Additionally, if the temperature difference between the economizer inlet and outlet is 6 degrees. the boiler’s draft intensity (DI) will increase by 1 degree accordingly.

From this, we can find out by what percentage I increased the efficiency of the boiler by using the economizer. If the temperature in the economizer increases by 6 degrees, the efficiency of my boiler will increase by 1. Divide the economizer outlet temperature minus. the economizer inlet temperature by 6 and from that you will know. How much percent efficiency is my economizer increasing in the boiler? Flue gas inlet is 350 minus and we will subtract this.

We will divide 120 feet (36.58 m) water in litres by feed water inlet. which was in the formula. Now we will calculate it and see 190–120.  Coming to this is 70 divided by 350–120. This is coming to 230 × 100. If we divide this. then what is coming is mine. If we divide this then it is coming to 30.4 which is the efficiency of my economizer.

Coming to this is 30.4. What was this economizer?  It means that my economizer is working or what percentage of heat it is using. we can find out from here, the efficiency of the economizer is coming to 30, from this we can find out within a year. Economizer is saving coal consumption at 30. what does it mean? My coal consumption will be saved till 30 in a year.

You can also check with gas. To check with water, divide the feed water outlet temperature minus feed water inlet temperature by six. The amount that comes out is the percentage of efficiency of your boiler, and you have to check with flue gas. The flue gas in temperature is minus flue gas out. Divide the temperature by 16.
